Why these tools?

terraform fmt is a daily operation for IaC engineers — but it requires the Terraform binary installed. This tool runs the same normalization logic in the browser via your backend, no local install needed.

HCL ↔ JSON conversion is useful when generating Terraform configs programmatically or when integrating with tools that output JSON instead of HCL.
